About caye Caulker
Caye Caulker is often referred to as the "go slow" island due to its relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. The island's motto is "Go Slow," which encourages visitors to take life at a slower pace and enjoy the simple pleasures of the island.
Hol Chan Marine Reserve
A few meters off the boat in the shallow sea grass beds, I found this turtle enjoying the morning sunlight streaming down through the water.
Swimming with Sharks
By encountering nurse sharks in the Hol Chan Marine Reserve, guests can gain a better understanding of the natural behavior and characteristics of these fascinating animals. It can help dispel misconceptions about sharks and showcase their important role in maintaining the balance of marine ecosystems.
Sailing Out
Expeditions to places like Turneffe and Lighthouse reef are unfortunately few and far between. However, every opportunity we have had to take people out to those places have been spectacular.
Dock Talk
A sting ray’s smile is always a treat, we saw this one right off a dock.
